You knew it wouldn't be long until Facebook jumped on the online discount train. Today Facebook launched their new Deals feature in five "test" cities - Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, San Diego and San Francisco. According to Emily White, Facebook's director of local, Facebook will make it easy for users to share deals with friends, see when a friend buys something and find offers that your friends are interested in. The offered Deals will focus on activities that are best done with friends - like concerts and events.
Facebook users will have the option to pay for their Deals by credit card or with Facebook Credits, the company's virtual currency.
